Marble is Mable......

Mable has joined the family, whats one more cat!

Gary saw a young cat outside, I see a calico, I see female!  She needs to be trapped and spayed!  Someone has to stop production!

so we trap her, and get her spayed.

She is slowly getting use to us, we think she is Gracies sister, they are the same size.

She is a cutie, but dont tell her that!

She likes to sit on a towel, so its her magic carpet!

Martha in the washer........

Martha loves to follow me.  So one day I go do the wash and some chores in the basement. I put the clothes in the dryer and I always leave the washer lid up.  So Gary and I proceed to clean the basement and suddenly we hear a meow but its far away, we stop, we listen and can not place it.  I keep calling, calling for Martha, and we listen I am now by the washer and the lid is down, I open it and guess who is IN the washer?  Martha! Wide eyed and scared.

I now never leave the lid up!

Mooch the magician

Mooch the magician!   Mooch was sick he needed to stay away from everyone so he was  in a crate in the bedroom.  So we decided to get him a playpen, we got it, all excited that he would be out of the crate he was in, put it up, get him all setup, and to the couch I go.   Gary looks down the hall and who do we see?  MOOCH looking at us!  Gary said, WHAT ARE YOU DOING OUT,
!  Then Mooch runs down the hall into our bedroom,  ugh!  Wrong room!  So now I move all his stuff into our room.

We go in the room and Mooch went under the hut it has to squish him!

Well Mooch is feeling better, he is back in the house running around, well not really, he is sleeping next to me on the couch!

Gracie has entered the house

Gracie has entered the house! Well she has been here she has had her vet check and she has the run of the house but does not let us pet her.  She will let you when she is in the bedroom, while one on one, but she has the run of the house.  She hangs out with mooch and tinker the wrong crowd!  they are not all the user friendly so when they run she will run does not help with getting use to us.

buc does not exactly like her  Martha does not like her, Sam really does not care.

so my zoo grows but I guess that is why I am on this earth, thats ok!

Buc and the Zoo

It's almost been a year since Buc has entered the house, he has become Head of the Household, something like Big Brother.  Martha is Queen and Buc chews on Martha 'like a Ham Bone" as we say in the Big House. 

We have addded a few more to the list, this is in ranking order:

Ewok lives in the basement but has a romance going on with Martha between the basement door.

It has been a year since 'the legend' has passed and he is still in everyones hearts.  He is missed daily we love them all but Thomas had a special place in ours for some reason.

We remember all the fun times with him, Buc has learned to love his summer house and porch just as much as Thomas did.

To my St. Thomas, I love you more than you can imagine and miss you more then you know.

The Door Stop......

Well some of you have have heard Buc has joined the family.  He has been with us since April, 2012.  We rescued him from the pound, he lived there for 2 years.  He has feline Aids also and is fine otherwise.

Buc is 21 pounds, he has been in many fights and has gone head first into them, he has his ears damaged from fighting so they flap over, no he's not the 'rare' breed, just the beat up breed.  His mouth looks like a catfish, one too many fights.

Buc is coming along every day since he came to us, him and Martha are secret friends.

Buc stands for "Big Ugly Cat" or "Butt Ugly Cat" that's from one of his vets.  But since Buc is so big and he does not do all that much around the house, he does play and run but sometimes he is just the........

DOOR STOP~!  or Paper Weight Gary also calls him !

He's a good guy, comes to me for secret petting and brushing. He loves the shore, gets there and immediately goes out on the porch makes sure the rocks didn't move from last weekend.  We are happy we are able to give him this life till his time comes.

So I have a door stop now, I'm glad !

The Legend has passed.

Thomas has passed over the Rainbow Bridge, it was his time.  He was also diagnosed with Cancer in his lungs, liver and Kidneys, along with his Kindey Failure and Feline Aids, he had everything against him and he never gave up, he tried to keep going, but it was his time.  We had a very long night his last night and it was time.

He was very well loved not only by us, but by the Vets and Techs at the hospital, no one had a dry eye the morning I took him in.  Even the vet that didn't care for him, was so sorry to hear of his passing.

He will live in our hearts for ever and never be forgotten.
